the Limit’ approaches a territory where the abysm is presented before us
and where the concept of limit is understood as an overflow. The
self-vanishes and the body encounters its own material condition; a
fight within its own limits, where the skin is its ultimate border.
Beatriz Díaz Lucido through its artwork interprets the body as a surface of disappearance; A fragile, volatile, light, infra-light body. Visible and invisible body. Meditating about the existing
connection between the construction of the image and its perception.
Presence and evanescence of the body. It is an approach to all the
energy lost, the uninhabitable places and the space between the
individual and the gaze. This visual alternative establishes a direct
dialogue establishing a different way of understanding the body and the
subjectivity, through the presence of the infra-light.
