Dates: 12/18/2014 – 01/25/2015
Artists: 12 artists from Mula. Painters, photographers and sculptors
Organizers: FCP [Casa Pintada Foundation]
Twelve artists, with diverse techniques and curiosities, show us this exhibition as an excellent way to approach the Art to all citizens.
The Casa Pintada Foundation – The Cristóbal Gabarrón Museum of Mula presents next Thursday, December 18 at 8:00 p.m. the group exhibition ‘Mula Contemporánea’ ('Contemporary Mula'). The exhibition will be open until January 25, 2015.
“In rare instances, the Casa Pintada Foundation opens three of its rooms to only one temporary exhibition and this is one of them. As indeed there could not be because of the importance of the exhibition.
Mula Contemporánea gathers twelve of the most representative artists from the town; creators of very diverse styles who mainly share the passion and the environment where they search for the inspiration: painters, photographers and sculptors meet in our Museum.
From the youngest, trying to find their place in the difficult world of art, to the veterans, who one day left trace, to the ones who have achieved today the task to make the creation their way of life.”

This is a group exhibition that will leave no one indifferent because of its variety and the quality of the works. The exhibition will be viewed in three of the rooms of the FCP: Sala 1, Sala 2 and Bodega. In those, we will find completely different styles. Sala 1 will be destinated to paintings, where we will find works by Daniel Belchí Calero, Carlos Cotes, Anil Das Grupta, Nono García, Irene Orcajada and José López Lara. Sala 2 will hold pictures by Antonio Castillo Caballero, Andrés G. Mellado and Cristina Gutiérrez. Finally, in the Bodega we will find sculptures by Ayllón and an installation by Ramón Lez.
