Muriel, 31, from Madrid; Cristina Franco Roda, 27, from Cabezo de Torres (Murcia), Sabina Simón, 33, from Barcelona. Remaining as substitutes, in the following order, Beatriz Díaz Lucido, 23, from Toledo and Elena Maroto, 29, from Sevilla.
The Jury consisted of the the artist Cristóbal Gabarrón; Cris Gabarrón Cabero, President of the Gabarrón Foundation; Tomás Paredes Romero, President of the Spanish Association of Art Critics; Juan García Sandoval, Director of the BB.AA. Museum in Murcia; Sergio Porlán Soler, Director of the Centro Párraga in Murcia and Julio César García Rodríguez, Director of la Fundación Casa Pintada.
The Gabarrón Foundation, on the occasion of the celebration of its 20th anniversary, launched this public announcement last year to support all of the visual artists who wish to achieve an original exhibition in one of the temporary rooms among the emerging trends and ways of contemporary visual expression. After the success of the past announcement, the foundation wanted to launch a second edition.
