The jury in the FCG International award in Visual Arts, that met today in Valladolid on June 17, 2004, was made up of; D. José Pérez-Guerra, director of the Punto de las Artes; D. Luis Chillida Belzunce, director of marketing and comunication of the Chillida Leku Museum; D. Marcos-Ricardo Barnatán Hodari, writer and art critic of El Mundo; D. Manuel Martín Ferrand, journalist and collaborator of ABC; D. Miguel Ángel García Rodríguez, editor of the 2 News of TVE.

 

 
 
 

Scenic Arts 2004

 

The jury for the FCG International Award in Scenic Arts, that met today in Valladolid, June 21, 2004 was made up of; Ms. Sarah Halioua Bencheton, managing director of Happy Endings; Mr. José Antonio Pérez Piñar, director of "Cultura con Ñ"; Mr. José Luis Cuerda Martínez, cinema director; Mr. Manuel Erice Oronoz, delegate director of ABC in Castile and Leon; Mr. Daniel Pérez Fernández, playwright, director of the theatre, Teatro Principal of Zamora.

 
 

Science and Research 2004

 

The jury for the FCG International Award in Science and Research 2004, that met today in Valladolid on June 25, 2004, was made up of; Ms. Catalina Luca de Tena y García Conde, President-editor of the Daily publication ABC Dr. Regina Revilla Pedreira, Director of External Relations and Communication of MSD; Dr. Camilo José Cela Conde, Doctor of Philosophy of the University of the Balearic Islands; Dr. Tomás Girbés Juan, Doctor of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology of the University of Valladolid and Award winner of the Castile and Leon Award in Science and Research and Dr. Antonio Gil Verona, Doctor of Human Anatomy of the University of Valladolid, and secretary of the Spanish League against Epilepsy and the director of the Science Museum of Valladolid.

 
 

Sports 2004

 

The jury in the FCG International award in Visual Arts, that met today in Valladolid on July 2, 2004, was made up of; Mr. Conrado Durántez, president of the Spanish Olympic Academy and president of the Committee Internacional Pierre de Coubertin; Mr. Amalio Moratalla, attached director of the area of sports of the Recoletos group; Mr. Juan Maria Gastaca, ABC assistant director; Ms. Mª del Carmen Izquierdo Vergara, director of executive production of sports of the TVE and president of the Spanish Association of Sport Press; Mr. José Miguel Ortega Bariego, head of sports of RNE in Castile and Leon.

 
 

Literature 2004

 

The jury in the FCG International award in Literature, that met today in Valladolid on July 8, 2004, was made up of; Dr. César Hernández Alonso, university professor of the Spanish Language of the University of Valladolid; Mr. César Alonso de los Ríos, journalist and writer; Ms. Rosa Pereda de Castro, writer and journalist; Ms. Paz Ramos Pérez, director of the program "the Critical Eye" of RTVE and Mr. Ángel Sánchez – Harguindey, associate to the direction of "El País".

 
 

Thought and Humanities 2004

The jury in the FCG International award in Thought and Humanities, that met today in Valladolid on July 12, 2004, was made up of; Mr. Miguel Ángel Cortés Martín, ex-secretario de estado para la Cooperación Internacional y para Iberoamérica; Mr. Félix Lázaro Lázaro, periodista y director de comunicación de Caja Duero; Mr. Benigno Pendás García; profesor de Teoría Política de la Universidad Complutense; Mr. Alejandro Royo Villanova y Payá, presidente de “El Norte de Castilla”. Mr. Santiago Alonso Paniagua, consejero delegado del diario ABC.

 
 

Restoration and Conservation 2004

The jury in the FCG International award in restoration and Conservation, that met today in Valladolid on July 16, 2004, was made up of; Mr. Francisco Javier León de la Riva, Mayor of Valladolid; and made up by the following members: Dr. Salvador Andrés Ordax, Professor of Art History of the University of Valladolid; Mr. Juan Mª García Otero, Founder of the magazine R&R; Mr. René Jesús Payo Hernanz, Professor of Art History of the University of Burgos and Member of the Fernán González Institution; Mr. José Miguel Santiago Castelo, Sub-director of ABC and director of the Real Extremadura Academy.

 


Lifetime Acgievement 2004

The jury in the FCG International award in restoration and Conservation, that met today in Valladolid on July 16, 2004, was made up of Ambassador Mr. Inocencio Arias Llamas, former representative of the Spain’s permanent mission in the United Nations, Mr. Julio Fermoso García, President of Caja Duero; Mr. Manuel Lombao Lombao, Director of the Area of the Territorial Centers of TVE; Ms. Teresa Sanjurjo González, Director of the Spanish Association of Foundations; Mr. Enrique Ybarra Ybarra, President of the Vocento Foundation.
