A New Tourist Information Point in Mula in La Fundación Casa Pintada
TOURIST INFORMATION POINT OF MULA IN THE FCP
This morning the presentation of a new tourist information point took place that from today is located in la Fundación Casa Pintada – Museo de Cristóbal Gabarrón (FCP-MCG).
The event included the presence of a comprehensive representation of the municipal government team. Involved in the presentation: Gabriel López Zapata,City Councillor of Tourism in Mula, D. José Iborra Ibáñez, Mayor of Mula and Julio César García Rodríguez, Director de the Painted House Foundation.
With this new tourist information point of Mula, the cultural center adds to the encouragement of tourism in the town, offering to all visitors which request sufficient information about most distinguished aspects of the culture,gastronomy, and local customs.
The information point offers visitors and tourists an extensive set of plans, routes and information brochures, contributing to reinforce, especially in the afternoon and the weekends, the important work developed from the office of Tourism in the City Hall of Mula.
The Painted House Foundation- Cristóbol Gabarrón opened in 2005 and embodies the dynamic cultural center that displays permanently carefully chosen works of the international artist, Cristóbol Gabarrón. The baroque architecture of the palace house displays in its rooms, a tour of drawings,paintings, sculptures and ceramics made by the artist throughout his creative career. At the same time, others spaces of the house like the called “La Bodega” and Room 1, embrace the temporary proposals of young artists and others already consecrated in Murcia.
