"The Head of the Giant"
Deep into the Creative Process of this work by Cristobal Gabarron.
With Dr. Alka Pande, curator and art critic from India, and Cris Gabarron, president of the Gabarron Foundation. On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, Mahatma Gandhi's birth anniversary.
Gandhi represents not only the non-violence, he represents for me
the absolute loyalty to be free, to be in solidarity, to be patient, to
have a positive ideology for humanity.
On October 2, 1869, one of the most universal of the figures in the history of humanity was born in India. In a twentieth century, turbulent and fleeting in events, Mahatma Gandhi, "great soul" according to Tagore, became the icon of a society of solidarity and justice towards peace and freedom.
Undoubtedly this "great soul" was a source of inspiration for the awakening of consciences of the stature of Martin Luther King or Nelson Mandela" and on this occasion it is also for Cristobal Gabarron.
